Green The Church Georgia 

About Us

Green The Church Georgia  is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit initiative dedicated to sustainability and environmental justice, rooted in and serving the Black Church. Our mission is to inspire and equip congregations across Georgia to embrace sustainable practices, address pressing environmental challenges, and empower communities to act. We partner with churches to tackle the life-saving work of building resilience against disasters and combating the effects of environmental racism, ensuring a just and sustainable future for all.

Dr. Erica Holloman

Georgia State Field Director

Dr. Erica Holloman (Dr. E) is a marine and environmental scientist with a Ph.D. and founder of Ayika Solutions, a woman-owned firm advancing sustainable solutions in the Southeast U.S.

Keona Graves

Atlanta Administrative Associate

Keona is a health communications expert with 20+ years’ experience focused on disease prevention and health equity.

Rev Micheal Malcom

Rev. Michael Malcom, UCC minister, leads Alabama Interfaith Power and Light and founded The People’s Justice Council, uniting faith and climate justice.

Dr. Kevin Wesley Earley

Dr. Kevin Wesley Earley, a Chicago native, is senior pastor of Community Church Atlanta and formerly served 17 years at Metropolitan Church of God in Detroit.

Charlotte Fletcher

A 30-year Atlanta resident, I’ve always cared deeply for others, with 12 years in healthcare strengthening my passion to help.

Ms. Cathy Farris-Jabbar

Granddaughter of a Baptist pastor and COGIC evangelist, I lead with love and reflect Christ through faith and grace.

Rev. Karen Ross

Rev. Karen Ross of Atlanta serves at St. Stephen Church, holds degrees in Social Work and Divinity, and enjoys service, baking, and travel.

Founder & CEO  Dr. Leslie Snead

Aevolve Green Solutions (AGS) partners with HBCUs and cities to create faith-based, sustainable housing using AEvolvee Dwelling Units (AEDUs).
