Hazel M. Cherry is a creative writer, ordained minister, talk show host, and digital media
consultant. A native of Oakland, California.

She is a sought-after preacher, facilitator, and conference speaker. Her mission is to empower women
to love themselves fully and chart their spiritual paths with authenticity and freedom.

In 2016, she founded Sisters’ Speak Talk Show, an online show highlighting Black millennial
women's struggles and celebrations. As a creative writer, she is a published poet and short story
writer and has received numerous fellowships for her work. 

After a decade of helping nonprofits and churches, in 2021, she launched a consulting company that supports women entrepreneurs, churches, and
organizations with digital marketing, website design, graphic design and social media
engagement. 

Currently, she lives in the greater Washington D.C. area and serves as Associate Minister to
Women at The Church Without Walls. She obtained a Master’s in Fine Arts, Creative Writing from American University (2022) and a Master's in Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity (2015). You can subscribe to
