The August Ambassador Institute

This webinar will focus on environmental justice and how Black communities in particular can benefit from initiatives like Justice40. We’ll hear from both Rev. Buck Magee, who applied for Justice40 funding to bring broadband to communities of color in Northwest Louisiana and Rev. Leo Woodberry who is looking to expand a solar-powered panel project in South Carolina to build a community-based drinking water business and a green jobs training center. We will discuss why this funding is crucial and what it potentially means for vulnerable communities of color.
